As our annual meeting approaches, you may wonder, what does official membership mean?
Being an official member means a person has made a commitment to participate in the life of this parish, expressed by a three-fold understanding of belonging:
1. Having been baptized, or received, into The Episcopal Church
2. Fulfilling one’s baptismal vows through regular attendance at worship
3. Participating in stewardship, faithfully giving of time, talent, and treasure
At the upcoming Annual Meeting the membership of our parish will celebrate the ministries of the previous year, vote on the 2022 Budget, and elect vestry members. If you are uncertain about the status of your membership, please email the parish office at spwmain@gmail.com.
