Sunday Blessing of the Animals

Church is going to the dogs! Well, sort of. On Saturday, October 4, bring your furry friend (and stuffies) to church at 2pm for an outdoor blessing in honor of St. Francis Day.
On Sunday, October 5, bring a photo of your faithful companion (tell the kids to bring their stuffies) and Rev. Susan will say a blessing over the photos and stuffed animals as we remember our care for all of God’s creatures at both the 8am and 10am service.
If you submit a photo of your pet to the SPW office by Thursday, October 2, we will include them in the presentation that plays on the TV in the Narthex and at the beginning of the YouTube video.
